What do you get when you mix random facts and jacuzzi's?

Hi Friends,
I pose this question with the 600+ views I had on Periscope yesterday- what is more interesting...Random facts like a child can swim through the veins of a blue whale or a girl saying the random fact in the jacuzzi? I think the latest fad of insta-broadcast is mildly addicting even more than a date night full of YOUTUBE! And as with both you get your typical stupids, pervs and straight up annoying but at the end of the day haven't we the people decided that killing brain cells is the thing to do? I concur, I pledge to get my stupid sexy on and shout from the rooftops more random, more brainless more facts on this ride of life. Oh and I may consider building a stairway to Jupiter as it rains diamonds and we all know- diamonds are a girls best friend. So please comment with your random facts so I can share them on Arms of Audio!
As Always,
Live Aloha,

Tequila Lime Zoodles

Before I begin, I'll post a picture of the ingredients to be used in this recipe minus the cluck clucks. Make a mental note that goes something like this, "OMG Is that tequila?!?"

Tequila Lime Zoodles photo Tequila Lime Zoodles.jpg

I think the creator of the name ZOODLES may have had one too many shots at Happy Hour. It is a happy word though. Its kind of impossible not to smile when it rolls off the tongue. And lets be honest if you have to stay away from carbs for any reason you will be HAPPY cooking this quick recipe. Zooledy- Doodley. Lets get started.

Ingredients:

Hail to the Zoodle
1 small zucchini
1 small yellow squash
2 cloves garlic
1 red pepper
1 jalapeño (reserve half for the sippy cup tequila sauce)
1 Bunch of cilantro *** Here is why to wash your cilantro after you take it home from the grocery store- the best way to pick out fresh, great tasting awesomeness is to SMELL it. I'll refrain from any other bothersome visuals)!
1 avocado (reserve half)
2- 3 small limes
1/4 purple onion
1/2 pound of shredded chicken (on this particular day I was exhausted and L-A-Z-Y and HOT. Welcome to summer. So to save time and avoid destroying my lovely locks, I picked up already cooked, shredded chicken from a health food store.

Tequila Lime Sippy Sauce
1/2 jalapeno ( if you want to light it up, leave the seeds)
1/2 avocado
1-2 shots of the Tequila of your choice
Juice of 2-3 limes
2 tablespoons of Olive Oil

Directions:

Use an as seen on T.V. veggie pasta maker Its well worth it, while your at it pick up the bacon bowl contraption (just kidding, never tried it but I have always wanted to- if you have please comment below and let me know how it is)
Spiral your zucchini and squash. Chop your veggies. Set everything aside.

Now get out your NutriBullet or Blender.
Take a shot of Tequila Julia Child's style. One for the dish one for me and so on....
Pour in the above mentioned ingredients- I don't feel like re-tyipng the ingredients- I've only had 1 cup of coffee.
Give it a whirl and thats what you call the Green Monster

Sauté your veggies, add the chicken at the last minute of this very long 5 minute cooking escapade add the Zoodles. Now pour in the sauce. Just enough to get it warmed not enough to burn off the alcohol. Because at the end of the day, if you hate it or love it, I'm giving all credit to the Tequila!

One last tip:

You can use the Sippy Sauce as a marinade, for chicken let it do its thang for 4-6 hours or overnight.

Remember to always LIVE ALOHA and Eat to Celebrate Life. Aloha Nui Loa,

xoxoxox,

KrisT

Groove on This

We would like to extend our warmed gratitude to Taylor Swift for opening some eyes of late. But your eyes need to opened just a little further. We have personal friends that have had 1/2 million sales on ITUNES and saw nothing. Thats right nothing. Because its not just about ITUNES taking the profit away from starving artists, its anyone involved in your project. 5 years ago the goal was to work with promoters and distributors who had ITUNES accounts. They had "connections" wrote handy contracts kind of the terms and conditions no body really reads on craigslist or any major website. The artist starts playing out more and then the waiting happens. The quarterly sales report letting you know the amount your check will read.  When you read your paycheck for under 10 dollars you wonder how thats even possible. I am not saying nobody should get paid for helping an artist out but for goodness sakes, why should the creative process get shoved down the drain along with their profits. And the truth is the average consumer has no idea how much the artist is getting jipped. Thats were FREE THE ARTS come in. We have developed bracelets with QR codes to bypass the money grubbers and pay the artist what they deserve. After all you don't go to a concert for the booze you go because some serious talent is sharing their heart , their passion the very essence of them. If you want to be part of the movement I encourage you to preorder your bracelet now. FREE THE ARTS. Be a part of something that brings the Entrepreneur out in all of us. Support small business. But most of all support Talent.  There is a button on our website that says KrisTs get well fund. donate what you can to FREE THE ARTS and we will send you a bracelet within 3 weeks. We hope you join the movement. And if you are a musician or artist and want to know how to get started. Email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. IN.SPI.RA.TION

IN.SPI.RA.TION

noun

1. The process of being mentally stimulated to do or feel something, ESPECIALLY to do something creative.
2. The drawing in of breath

Since Arms of Audio is starting again I began thinking of what the top questions are that we ask our special guests, artists, musicians, photographers, chefs. The first question I ask is "What INSPIRES you?" But until today I didn't know the true definition of the word. I thought about my answers in the past and how across the board they were. The answer for me is now SIMPLE. Its one word. Aloha

The literal meaning of Aloha is "breath" or "breath of life." How interesting that my inspiration coincides with the very meaning of the word. But Aloha still is even deeper than that. To know Aloha is to hold the key to live righteously in this natural world. Here is what the ancestors taught us...

"Aloha is being part of all and all being a part of me. Where there is pain it is my mine. Where there is joy it is also mine. I respect  all that is a part of the Creator and part of me. I will not willfully harm anyone or anything. When food is needed I will take only my need and explain why its being taken. The earth, the sky, the sea are mine to care for, to cherish and to protect. This is Hawaiian. This is Aloha.

Its not my hands that paint canvas with colors and shadows, if it were my work would lack the inspiration of a great painting. It is the breath of my heart. It is the breath of Aloha that moves my hands. Because when I paint now that I am away from my home, I think about the divine inspiration that continues as the Islands grow bigger. I think of the rain. The hikes, the beach, the sand, all the flowers my husband surprised me with to wear in my hair. I think about the meaning of leis and how the fragrance and the beauty makes you forget for a time any pain. I create my own Hawaii where I live now. I think of what it important. Family "ohana" simple pleasures, staying in beautiful moments for as long as they last.

I look forward to a new season with Arms of Audio. A show about Art, Music and Life. I look forward to interviewing you and asking YOU....What inspires you friend?

Until then. Aloha

Hilo Rain

Ever notice how a song can immediately transport you in time like the time machine in Back to the Future actually worked? Or somehow all the "treckies" know the secret to time and space. Like Ice Ice Baby- instantly you remember exactly where you were and what you were doing. Its almost like you can taste the air that day. And if you have really had a home, you remember everything. For a moment its like you are right there. Breathing it all in. For us its Hilo. And Hilo is known for its rain. And by rain I mean a rain with no comparison to Seattle rain or Portland rain. Sure it might be rain. But its almost magical. When you are drenched in it, running through the streets its like you feel washed by the Ancient Hawaiians. Its a rush of Aloha. It makes you laugh because your sopping wet. It reminds you of the power of nature. I realized by accident that I needed Hilo Rain to sleep. Sleep with peace feeling at home with everything around you. We had to make a move to California to get treatment. But the last few nights it was just too hot and too noisy to get back to bed. And there it was the blessed app on the Iphone. We turned on Heavy rain pour and almost instantly my breathing slowed, I got relaxed for my head to my toes and didn't wake up until the morning.
Timo wrote a song called Hilo Slumber. And every time I hear it I feel that transport and I let myself go. Its a song about our love for each other, for life and our Art. All the dreams we said we would never give up. And we never have. We have had to take the back burner to almost everything, but we are coming back. Its like a thunderstorm is starting to form and you are all in for the dreams we promised to downpour. When you listen to this song I hope that you are transported to your place. The place where you love, and live. The place between awake and asleep where anything is possible.

The Perception of a Masterpiece

Okay. So Arms of Audio is coming back and its been a while. A long while. I have been an official couch loafer. Because of my illness my perception changed. I couldn't see depth and as an artist seeing FLAT makes creating something awesome almost impossible. But I took that and applied it to my own life. Perception is key. I will not preach to see that glass half full- I prefer mine empty so I can refill it, because friends Wine is way better than water. I realized this whole time, while I was creating beauty, my perception on art needed an overhaul.
Every one of us is a living, breathing work of art. We are not done, but layers are what create depth. I strive to be real. Opposite colors are complimentary, that means a little bit of hardship creates harmony, intense color and beauty. Shading is absolutely necessary to make things come alive so a little bit of darkness brings out the light. And White- its every color combined. Its what accents our hearts. So I dare take a selfie and be proud of YOU the masterpiece. Everything has made you awesome and unique. There is only one of you. Not only are your fingerprints all your own, so is your story.

Flower Dreams photo IMG_0237.jpg Today celebrate you, think about what makes you a piece of art thats living and breathing and not just hanging on a wall. Tell me your story. And I will tell you mind. Be Inspired Aloha Nui Loa, KrisT

Timo gotta job

Thats right! You heard it here. He is a V-Jay on Arms of Audio. Usually my humor,  my hot looks and my inability to have political discussions have carried the show. I met my CHALLENGER today who was taken off the duty of running the board. He got to shine like our wedding ring - you know the one, keep forgetting to get the damn thing cleaned- that old school dirty ring with hardly any luster...Thats how the hottie shined. on the old style MVP I mean MTV I mean cool tunes with a hot vibe.

If the rip tide takes you....

Hi guys,
Thanks for all the encouragement and support during this trying time for Arms of Audio. I shared in my video, I wanted to blow it off and be really bummed about having tremors. I instead decided it would be better to let the tremors add movement. After all it is an ocean life painting. So I hope  whatever is holding you back today that you take a moment and be in it. Maybe then you can overcome. From the bottom of my heart as deep as the sea I hope that you are encouraged, inspired and free from all your troubles.
Aloha (Breath of God)
KrisT
